Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 28, 2025

1. Parties

These Terms and Conditions are an agreement between Amanda Lynn Photography referred to as we or us and the client named on the proposal or invoice referred to as you.

2. Services

We provide wedding and event photography services in Southern California as described in your proposal or invoice. Any change to scope timing or location must be agreed to in writing.

3. Booking and payments

  1. A signed agreement and a retainer of the amount listed in your proposal are required to reserve your date.

  2. The retainer is nonrefundable and is applied to the final balance.

  3. The remaining balance is due by the deadline shown on your invoice.

  4. Late payments may incur a late fee as stated on your invoice until paid in full.

4. Rescheduling and cancellation

  1. If you reschedule with sufficient notice we apply payments to a new mutually available date within twelve months.

  2. If you cancel the retainer is forfeited. If cancellation occurs within the window shown in your agreement all fees paid are forfeited.

  3. If we must reschedule due to illness emergency or force majeure we will offer a new date or a qualified associate photographer. If no solution is possible you will receive a refund of fees paid limited to payments received.

5. Timeline and late arrivals

Please have all participants ready at the agreed start time. Late arrivals reduce coverage time. Overtime requested on the day is billed at the rate listed in your agreement in half hour increments subject to availability.

6. Creative license

You trust our artistic judgment regarding style composition lighting and editing. We do not deliver raw or unedited files. Edits are performed at our discretion consistent with our portfolio.

7. Image delivery

  1. Preview highlights are typically delivered within forty eight hours unless your agreement states otherwise.

  2. Full galleries are typically delivered within the time frame stated in your agreement.

  3. Delivery windows are estimates and may shift during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.

  4. Galleries are delivered via a private online link with download access for a stated period noted in your delivery email.

8. Print products and albums

Album and print orders are final once approved. Production times vary by lab. We will coordinate replacements for manufacturing defects with the lab.

9. Client responsibilities

  1. Obtain all permissions and permits required for locations and venues.

  2. Provide a safe environment for photography.

  3. Assign a point of contact for family lists group portraits and timekeeping when needed.

  4. Inform us of any restrictions imposed by the venue officiant or coordinator.

10. House rules officiants and guest cameras

We follow venue and officiant rules. Guest photography is welcome provided it does not interfere with our work. We may pause or reposition if a guest blocks a key moment.

11. Permits travel and fees

Location permits entrance fees and parking are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed. Travel beyond the mileage listed in your proposal from Southern California may incur travel lodging or per diem fees which will be quoted in advance.

12. Usage license for you

Upon full payment you receive a personal license to download share and print delivered images for personal use. Commercial or promotional use by venues vendors or other businesses requires a separate license unless stated in writing.

13. Model release and our usage

You grant permission for images to be used in our portfolio website social media studio samples and marketing. If you prefer privacy tell us in writing before the session and we will provide a no publicity addendum.

14. Vendor and publication credit

If vendors request images for publication we can share with proper credit. When you post we appreciate vendor tags and ask that heavy filters that alter color are not applied when crediting our work.

15. Editing retouching and revisions

Standard color and exposure correction is included. Basic skin and background cleanup is included at our discretion. Additional retouching or image manipulation is available at an hourly rate.

16. Backup and archiving

We keep active backups for at least the period stated in your delivery email after gallery delivery. Long term archiving is not guaranteed. Please download and store your images in multiple locations.

17. Limitation of liability

If we fail to perform due to circumstances beyond our control our liability is limited to a refund of payments received. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. You agree to hold us harmless for restrictions outside our control including venue rules weather transit delays or interference by guests.

18. Insurance

Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

19. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Venue and jurisdiction are in Orange County California. Claims may be brought in small claims court where permitted.

20. Entire agreement

These Terms together with your signed agreement and invoice are the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions. Changes must be in writing and signed.
